Interactive Free-Viewpoint Video
Gregor Miller, Adrian Hilton and Jonathan Starck
Interactive Free-Viewpoint Video Multiple view video is processed to obtain high quality interactive free-viewpoint rendering of dynamic scenes, applied in particular to people. An exact view-dependent visual hull algorithm is used to provide an initial approximation to the object. The surface is refined using stereo matching across wide-baseline views. A new representation of multiple refined surfaces is presented to allow interactive viewing in real-time.

Presented in London, November 2005 at the Conference on Visual Media Production (CVMP).
